Erika Roman has been practicing law since December 2001, representing clients before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Department of Homeland Security in Los Angeles, California.<\/h4>\n

Erika serves on the EOIR Liaison committee and communicates directly with the immigration judges. This allows us to know what is going on and stay up to date on new policies and implementation.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/h4>\n

She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating cum laude. Erika is a member of the California State Bar.<\/p>\n

Erika was born in Los Angeles, California. Her grandfather served in World War II and was a prisoner of war for many years. He shared with her the struggle to liberate oppressed persons and explained how her own family immigrated to this country. Erika’s uncle was an Immigration Judge and often told her stories about the importance of honoring all cultures and the hope of keeping families together. Erika is known for tackling challenging cases and achieving successful results, even in the most difficult cases. She never gives up and finds creative solutions to provide relief.<\/p>\n

Erika represents clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Courts all over the country in applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers and motions to reopen. She also handles all types of visas, including artist visas, employer sponsored visas, family-based immigration cases and applications for adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization. She represents clients weekly before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Erika also specializes in cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.<\/p>\n

On the weekends, Erika enjoys spending time with her family, trying new cuisines and playing tennis. She loves to travel, and has studied abroad in Europe and China.<\/p>\n

Irving Jimenez was born in the Dominican Republic. His father was granted political asylum when he was only 4 years old and his family immigrated to America. Later he served in the military before embarking on a career in immigration. With over 30 years of experience, he began working for a law firm in New York in 1990, during the time of amnesty reform. He remained at that firm for 15 years before moving to California.<\/h4>\n

Irving regularly volunteers in church and enjoys educating people about their rights. He and his family live in Santa Clarita. Irving is a devoted husband and father of 4 children, ages 27, 25, 11, and 6. His hobbies include graphic design and he is an automotive enthusiast.<\/p>\n

They found safety in America and an opportunity to build a home. She enjoys advocating for families and improving their lives.<\/p>\n

Coming from Arizona, a border state and a hot spot for immigration, Aida witnessed abuses in our immigration system first-hand, as she saw her neighbors being taken from their homes, not knowing why or if she would ever see them again. She decided to become a paralegal to help people legalize themselves. She also assists with the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures and oversees all client matters including immigration court and removal proceedings, adjustments, work permits, appeals, U visas, waivers and all forms of relief.<\/p>\n

Aida realizes the importance of media as it\u2019s an effective tool for bringing attention to cases that touch our heart and handles all of our news stories. She is dedicated to giving 100% to each and every client. She is a people person and has the passion and drive to never give up and help our families through their journey.<\/p>\n

She lives with her family in Van Nuys, an area where so many central American and Mexican people celebrate food, culture and traditions. Ms. Roman recibi\u00f3 su doctorado en Loyola Law School, Los Angeles y se le otorgo el Reconocimiento de Jurisprudencia Americana. Ella se gano su Bachillerato en Artes en Ciencia Pol\u00edtica por parte de la Universidad de California (UCLA), con honores. Ella es miembra de la Barra del Estado de California.
Ms. Roman naci\u00f3 en Los Angeles, California. Su abuelo sirvi\u00f3 en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y fue prisionero de guerra por muchos a\u00f1os.
